Omni. French Quarter.

The French Quarter of New Orleans, is not like Toronto's downtown core. Of course the same hustle and bustle ex hists, but there is no looming shadows of skyscrapers, condo buildings and 34 - storey hotel rooms. While browsing, I came across the Omni Hotel, located on the most popular corner of the French Quarter (St. Louis and Royal). It's historic elegance brings you back to the jazz era, that has never actually left New Orleans.

What I like most about this hotel is the classic ballroom. Its accommodating, seating a maximum capacity of 410. You can see in the pictures below, that the decor, ornate light fixtures, and intricate ceilings reminds me of the Marilyn Monroe movie "Some Like it Hot".

This hotel is truly unique and I think would offer a great addition to your experience in New Orleans.
