Big Barn.

This post is going to seem repetitive. Don't be angry! I can't help coming across pictures of barn's when I'm doing my morning blog scanning. The funny thing is at my house up north, I actually have a barn, that has been all redone inside, yet I stay far away from it, it tends to creep me out. Go figure.

I did come across these great wedding shots of a Barn Reception. Thought I would share.
Can someone please get hitched in a barn, or you know throw a hoe-down, I am desperate to decorate for you.

Balloon Scenery.

First, this needs to be cleared up that I am seriously a Pinterest freak. I save, pin, and like three quarters of everything on Pinterest. It makes me the most happy! Not too long ago I came across this family portrait, of a random family. The people were beautiful, but it was the whimsical scenery that caught my eye.

I have told you time and time again ( two times at least ) that I am not the biggest fan of balloons. I hate the way they get taped on walls, or tied to mailboxes or worse get made into a banner. (I shudder) Fortunately, in this photo the balloons were not tied, or taped. Instead, they were pegged into the ground at every different level. Most of the balloons were white, some soft pink or yellow. It was stunning! I seriously fell in love with it.

The photo I found, was taken in some sort of forest, or maybe a park, but I am pretty sure you could use your backyard, or a park near your house ( people may think your wacky) but it would be worth it. '

Check out the photos below.

I will also try out my own and post it as soon as I can!

First for everything.

I've had my stab at planning a few weddings. Six to be exact. They are all different in their own way and require different processes for different couples. I have done a lot of artsy crafts and DIY decor for weddings but never had I designed stationary before.

My friend, Duncan (photographer) who I have known since ever, is getting married on September 15, 2012. He proposed 2 weeks ago. Time frame not so awesome! These invites had to get out quick..like hand delivered quick! I decided the best way to showcase the couple in the invitation was to use one of his photos in the invitation. They decided to go with a  picture of a dock, that both had some sort of meaning for them.

Check out my stationary below! If you like it, and you want me to try my hand at it again, let me know! I'd be happy  to help.
