You're Invited.

I came across these pretty invites, that you could probably DIY after a nice trip to Michael's. I would definitely use the first one.

Sorry that these examples are all weddings, you can always use a fancy invite for a party or event other than a wedding!

Back in town.

I feel like I send out these apology posts often. O well! I'm sorry for the huge lapse in posts, but I was #wanderingandthensome, around Paris and Amsterdam for the last ten days. Ten days was not enough for two beautiful cities, however, ten days with the family was definitely enough. Cheers to going it on my own, and the last family vacation!

I haven't decided on a new destination as of yet, but I definitely will be sharing some pictures with all of you soon! If you have any suggestions, as always let me know... PLEASE!

New decor posts to follow tomorrow morning.

Cute right?

Edible Centres.

I didn't have the time to post about another Florida Venue this morning, so my awesome co-worker, Andrea helped me come up with my next post idea. Edible Centrepieces! Have I mentioned these before?

They are nothing new, and have been created in a many a ways. The best two I have seen are using cookies and cupcakes. (Fruit is also really pretty, but only for a short period of  time. Otherwise it tends to go soggy, and brown)  I have never actually used a cookie or cupcake centrepiece at one of my events, but I have done a cookie bouquet for a flower girl, which although was munched throughout her walk down the isle, it was still pretty awesome, and made for some great photos.

The one thing I like about these centrepieces, is that while they are fun and pretty they almost act as an ice-breaker at tables, and tend to make guests more interactive. Not to mention, you can DIY them to whatever your tastes are. ($ saver).

Check these pictures out. Make your own. Eat it. Tell me what you think!

Greenhouse.

Never thought I would like the idea, of a sit-down in a Greenhouse, but this one is quite pretty!

Any thoughts?

Shucks.

I wasn't going to post about this place, but then I remembered how I couldn't stop saying "Shucks"after I went here, so I thought it might be worth it. I of course only associated Florida with Seafood, so after a bit of driving around one night, and a little bit of peer pressure, we decided to go to Shucks. It's not the most fanciest of restaurants, but it had a very homey feel, not to mention the 2 for 1 margaritas which made it even homier.

If your like me, and you go to Florida, and find yourself on a mission for seafood, try out Shucks! No need to dress up, go for lunch or dinner, and please, please have some margarita's (its like a bowl of loveliness).

P.S Its on Tamiami trail, how fun is that to say. Tamiami....tamiami...
