Hippie Hippie Shake.

The 70's were great right? I am actually asking, as I was no where near being alive in that decade. But it looked like pretty fun, stylish kinda time. Who doesn't love bell-bottoms??

I came across this rustic hippie wedding featured on Green Wedding Shoes and just had to share.

How to.

Another great video from Emily at Cupcakes and Cashmere

Enjoy..

Cactus.

My lovely grandmother is a florist. I remember when I was little my G-ma would come home from work, and bring my sister and I a little potted rose or Pansie. I loved them like crazy until they wilted and died, due to my lack of water duty. There was this one time when she brought me home a tiny cactus. I am not sure if she subconsciously knew that I had difficulty remembering to water living things, but somehow she knew. I had this teenie cactus for about a year, loved loved it on my bedside table ( having a plant made me feel mature), until it started to get cob webby and had to go. I guess I should have also dusted more...my bad.

The story above was supposed to relay my like of cactus...I am not so sure it did, but you get the picture. You don't really see cactus too often anymore. I didn't anyway. Until I started my wedding and event blog peruse in the mornings. I saw more and more bouquets and centerpieces incorporating cactus. The more I saw, the more I loved it, possibly because it reminded me of my G-ma, who I can honestly say is one of the best people in the world, and I am genuinely lucky to have her. They just look really pretty and give the florals a bit of an edge.

Try them out at a summer affair, its not like they're going to wilt.
